Farming on Matic’s Defy dAPPS Blockchain

How to start farming in Polygon Matic using your Metamask and your favorite browser! While other defy protocols and dAPPS are losing liquidity due to the current bear market of BTC, Matic on the other hand is reaping some favorable acknowledgments in the defi space as numerous defi projects and dAPPs are switching to Matic as their protocol of choice.

Here are the steps on how to farm your yields on Matic using your favorite wallet. Before you proceed, you need to have Matic RPC network added to your list of networks in your wallet.

Step 1. Go to https://wallet.matic.network/login/ and login to your Metamask wallet using your favorite browser

Step 2. Click Move funds to Matic Mainnet. This step will bring you to the bridge where you can transfer eth to Matic blockchain.

Step 3. On metamask you should be on your Ethereum network. Input what you want to transfer to the Matic network and click continue.

Step 4. Wait for the transfer to be completed. It usually takes 7 to 8 minutes approximately.

Step 5. When the transfer is completed, you need to switch your network to your Matic network.

Go back to your Matic Wallet and find your ETH there.

Step 6. Go to Quickswap.exchange to exchange your eth to Matic. Matic tokens are the default token that will be used in the Polygon blockchain. And you need Matic to pay for gas.

Now you should be seeing Matic in your Metamask wallet 🙂
